7-ELEVEN IS NOW ON UBER EATS

Protecting everyone with in-store changes

26 March 2020

We’re committed to working with our franchisees, store leaders and store teams to provide essential services and supplies to our community. We’re here for you 24/7, whatever you need.

We’ve changed some things in-store help protect everyone.

  • Earlier this week we started the roll-out of perspex screens at our counters. Over 220 are already installed with Victoria and WA completed. Stores in NSW and QLD will have their screens installed by next Wednesday

  • We’ve increased our already high standards for store cleanliness and safety with heightened cleaning routines and processes. All surfaces and touch points are cleaned on the hour every hour when operating 24 hours per day

  • Posters are going up near our pumps advising customers they can use paper towels to hold their petrol hoses

  • We’re limiting the number of people in-store to fit with the one person per four square metre guidance

  • We’ve got a range of signs up to remind people of social distancing, and other instructions. Floor decals to promote social distancing in stores are being produced and will be installed next week

  • We’ve fast tracked ordering of an additional range of cleaning, sanitation and other supplies. In the meantime, highly frequent hand washing by everyone in store is a focus

  • We’ve got extra people out in stores helping them to clean and keep shelves stocked

  • We’re encouraging everyone to move to cashless payments. To look after each other we’re asking customers to pay by card if they can

  • Our stores are regularly stocked and we’ll continue to adjust our range to ensure our stores provide our customers with what they need

Thanks for your patience and kindness to our teams as they work hard to help everyone.
