Your training will be conducted at one of our specified Training Stores and relevant State Office.

The safety and security of our Franchisees, their staff and our customers, is of great importance to 7-Eleven, and is taken very seriously. Each store is fitted with a full security system including cameras and a recording hard drive device. Stores are also fitted with Safe havens, security doors and jump wires at the counter and panic alarms which can be activated remotely.

Investment

The 7-Eleven Store Agreement provides Franchisees with a guaranteed yearly gross income currently this is $365,300 for Fuel Stores and $399,000 for Non-Fuel Stores. If your franchise is not making this amount, 7-Eleven will adjust the monthly charge. If you are a multi-site operator, the amounts will average across your stores.

Qualifications skills

Prior experience within a retail or customer service environment would be an advantage. We are looking for people who are naturally customer driven and have an energy and passion for retail. Your training will provide you with the skills required to effectively operate a 7-Eleven franchise.

Operating my store

We would prefer the Franchisee is the operating manager of the business. Multi-site Franchisees may require a Manager to run additional stores. The Manager would be required to complete relevant 7-Eleven provided training. Please note to become a multi-site franchisee in 7-Eleven, you will need to go through a detailed and thorough approval process.

Employee management

The Franchisee is responsible for the hiring of employees and all payroll expenses. A Recruitment & Training program is provided for all staff to engage in and complete once employed. 7-Eleven Franchisees are required to abide by all relevant laws and legislation, including all workplace laws. It is important to understand the obligations as an employer to ensure you are compliant with the law.
