1 Troubleshooting

  • My Fuel App’s not working. What do I do?
    Hmmm. First, make sure you have the most recent version of the app. If problems persist contact 7-Eleven Customer Service via email or phone.

  • I’m having problems with my 7-Eleven Account.
    Check your account online at my7elevencard.com.au. If that doesn't straighten things out, contact 7-Eleven Customer Service via email or phone.

  • I couldn’t redeem my Fuel Price Lock voucher in store at the time of purchase.
    It doesn’t happen often. If 7-Eleven couldn’t accept your Fuel Price Lock voucher at the point of purchase, then lodge a credit request through the ‘Missed Discount’ feature in the settings tab.
  • My Fuel App vouchers won’t scan in a 7-Eleven store.
    Your phone screen needs to be bright for the scanner to read the barcode. Make sure it’s not in resting mode or turn up the brightness in your phone settings. That should do the trick.

2 7-Eleven Account (Registration / Personal Details)

  • Why do I need to register?
    It’s the only way to lock in low fuel prices. If you’re unregistered you can still use the Store Locator and My Offers sections.
  • I’ve already registered at my7elevencard.com.au. Can I use these details?
    You sure can. Go ahead and use the same account info to log in.
  • Do you need my date of birth and mobile number?
    Yes to both. We need your date of birth because you have to be over 13 to use the Fuel App. It’s a legal requirement. Sorry kids.

    We need your mobile number for security – it helps us protect your account.
  • What are your password requirements?
    Your password must contain a minimum of 8 characters with at least one lowercase character, one uppercase character and one number. It’s better to be secure than sorry.
  • Is my personal info safe?
    Check out our privacy policy for all the info on how we collect and use your info 7eleven.com.au/privacy-policy.
  • Will I get a bunch of emails when I register for the Fuel App?
    We only send out cool and useful stuff – no spam. If you don’t want to hear from us you can easily opt-out when you register, or in your account settings at any time.
  • I’ve created an account but didn’t receive my verification email.
    First, check your spam folder. Then, re-register and ensure all your details are correct. We can’t activate your account until we verify your email. Sorry.
  • Can I change my email address?
    Unfortunately not. However, you can view your account info in the app and edit any other account information at my7elevencard.com.au.
  • I forgot my password. Help!
    It happens to the best of us. You can reset your password through the app or online at my7elevencard.com.au. A password reset link will be sent to your email address.
  • How do I delete my account?
    We’d be sorry to see you go. Contact 7-Eleven Customer Service via email or phone at 24-7customerservice@7eleven.com.au or on 1800 247 711
  • Can I log in on different devices?
    You sure can! Regardless of the device you use, your account history and any associated vouchers/promotions will still be active.
  • Does the Fuel App know my location?
    It does, but only when it’s running. The Fuel Price Lock needs to know where you are to give you the best local fuel price. Some promotional offers may also be activated based on your current location. So keep location services on and get the most out of the app!

3 Payments (Gift Card / Credit / Debit Cards)

  • Can I still use my 7-Eleven Card?
    Although you can no longer top up your 7-Eleven Card, you can still spend your balance when purchasing products/fuel in store at any time!
  • How do I pay in store with my 7-Eleven Card App?
    That’s an easy one. Open your app and tap the top right 7-Eleven Card button to display your balance and your 7-Eleven Card barcode. Then, simply scan it at the counter. No pin required.
  • Where can I see my 7-Eleven Card balance?
    Just look to the top right-hand corner whenever you’re logged in. Want to get more balance info? Simply tap the button for a more detailed view of your 7-Eleven Card account.
  • Can I view my 7-Eleven Card transactions?
    Yup. You can view your last 30 transactions online at my7elevencard.com.au
  • Is my 7-Eleven Card balance refundable?
    Sorry, your 7-Eleven Card balance isn’t redeemable as cash. But you can spend it when purchasing products/fuel in store at any time!

4 7-Eleven Fuel Price Lock

  • Why do I need location services enabled?
    In order to give you our best local fuel price, we need to know where you are.
  • Why do I need to select a preferred Fuel type?
    Every fuel price lock is unique to you and only valid for one fuel type each time you create a price lock. That’s why you have to select your fuel type before you lock it in. Once you have locked in your fuel price it’s only redeemable on your selected fuel type.
  • What is the best local fuel price?
    It’s exactly what it sounds like. We do a quick search of the 5 closest 7-Eleven Fuel stores with your preferred fuel type within 250kms of your current location. The “best local price” displayed is the cheapest price we can find at those 7-Eleven stores at that time.
  • Do I need to redeem my Fuel Price Lock voucher at this store?
    You can take your voucher to any 7-Eleven Fuel Store in Australia for up to 7 days. We just show you the local store to ensure you know it’s a current pump price at 7-Eleven.
  • What amount of Fuel is my Fuel Lock valid for?
    Your Fuel Lock will be applicable to 150L of your selected fuel grade, in a single fill.
  • What if I want to fill up my car with more fuel than 150L?
    You can do that. But your locked price will only apply to 150L of fuel. The pump price will apply to anything over that amount.
  • What happens if I fill up with less than 150L of Fuel?
    Fuel Price Lock vouchers are good for one fill up. Any remaining litres expire. However, you can always lock in another fuel price.
  • Am I paying for my Fuel when I create my Fuel Price Lock voucher?
    No, there’s no pre-paying when you create your Fuel Price Lock voucher on the App. You only pay for fuel when you fill up in a 7-Eleven store.
  • How long is a Fuel Price Lock voucher valid for?
    A full 7 days but remember that it is a single use voucher only. You can check your expiry by accessing your voucher in the app. The time and date will be displayed on the voucher.
  • How do I redeem my Fuel Price Lock voucher?
    It’s all about the app. Visit any 7-Eleven fuel store and fill up your car with your preferred fuel type. When paying for fuel at the counter open the app to your Fuel Price Lock voucher and tell the attendant that you have a Fuel Price Lock. Then, simply scan your voucher to receive your locked price on your preferred fuel type.
  • What if the pump price is cheaper when I fill up?
    If the price at the bowser goes lower than your locked in price, don’t sweat it. You’ll only pay the lowest price on the day you fill up.
  • What happens if I fill up my car with a different fuel type to what I’ve locked?
    Make sure you fill what you lock. Your fuel price lock is only valid for the preferred fuel type you selected in the app. You would have to pay the pump price if you change fuel types when filling up.
  • Can I use my Fuel Price Lock voucher multiple times before the 7 days expiry?
    Sorry. They are single use only. Any remaining litres expire. However, you can always lock in another Fuel Price Lock voucher.
  • How often can I use the Fuel Price Lock?
    One at a time please. You are only entitled to have 1 active Fuel Price Lock voucher, per account, at any one time. You either need to wait 7 days for it to expire, or redeem it in store to initiate a new Fuel Price Lock.
  • How much does it cost to create a Fuel Price Lock voucher?
    Zero. Creating a Fuel Price Lock costs you nothing.
  • Can I view expired or used Fuel Price Lock vouchers?
    You sure can. Just visit the settings menu of the app to view your last Fuel Price Lock voucher.

5 Other Functionality (Store Finder / My Offers)

  • Can I search for 7-Eleven Fuel Stores and see their current prices?
    Yes, for any of the 700+ 7-Eleven stores in Australia. It’s called the Store Finder in the App - where you can find current fuel prices, store addresses, directions, open times and services.
  • Are there any other offers within the app?
    Funny you should ask. In the ‘My Offers’ section there will product offers available from time to time. Some of them will be unique to you. All can be redeemed in any 7-Eleven store in Australia. Some conditions will apply.
