Cultural diversity

Since our first stores opened in 1977 through to today, we have been part of the multicultural history of Australia. As the face of migration in Australia has changed, the faces in our stores and business have changed too. For many, 7-Eleven has provided them the opportunity to invest in and operate their own small business by providing support an dguidance to enable them to succeed in their new home, or the first job when they moved to Australia as part of their university studies.

While we are proud of the cultural and linguistic diversity of the broader 7-Eleven team, we strive to continuously improve cultural inclusion and belonging at 7-Eleven. We partner with the Diversity Council Australia (DCA), the independent not-for-profit peak body leading diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Through our Good Cause program, we are proud to support AMES Australia to partner in their work to help migrants and refugees to live, learn and work in their new homes.

The diverse life experiences and perspectives of the broader 7-Eleven team are an important part of who we are as a business. We will continue to celebrate nd leverage the diversity of our team and to provide opportunities for people who live and learn in Australia.
